For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my
mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your
works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You
when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of
the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were
written in Your book before one of them came to be.

All of us know how to get pregnant but none of us know the exact moment we become pregnant. That secret belongs to God. How wonderful it is for us to read this passage and know that before our own mother knew we existed, her womb was our meeting place with God. I read this passage and I can’t help but praise God for
the intimate way He forms us in secret, and just 22 days after conception our tiny little heart starts to beat. The doctors won’t be able to hear it for several weeks, but God gave us life. Then God wrote in His book all the days we would live. This is the greatest mystery of life and it belongs to God.
I wonder if God’s hand trembles when He writes in the book 115,000 times a day, 24 million times a year that this life will end quickly in a tragic death. A medical doctor, who took the Hippocratic Oath, will: inject poison into the mother’s womb, or a suction device, and kill the baby. If it is an injection it will enter the baby poison them and then kill them. If it is suction then it will rip the baby apart, limb by limb, killing it that way. There are other abortion procedures not mentioned today. They all come to the same deadly conclusion. I
just wonder if God’s hand trembles as He writes their days.
Aborted babies are the most oppressed humans on earth. Now the pro-choice people can argue all they want that they are not humans or cannot be counted as lives, but they would be wrong. As we read our passage today we learn that God does know us before our own mothers. God creates us wonderfully and in His image and He knows the days of our lives before any one of them come to be. He then knows which ones will never come to be, the ones who will be killed in their mother’s womb.
I wonder if while God writes their limited days down, the angels around Him don’t question and ask Him, “How long will Your children allow that to be before they stop it?”
I wonder the same thing.
Children of God, we need to get up and get out and we need to do all that we can to stop abortion. We need to be vocal; we need to give to these women other alternatives. We have to find safe places and good medical assistance for them. Our tax dollars go to pay for abortions. We are funding this murder. Check the
state you live in and you will see. If you are here in Illinois with me, then for sure your tax dollars pay for abortion.
Just in case you are wondering, out of all those abortions 55% of them are done on Christian women. Most of them are unmarried with a small percentage married.
When it comes to oppression this is the number one group that is the most oppressed on earth, and this is the largest group. As His Church we have two choices: we can sit back and just let it happen and accept this as a part of our fallen world; or we can rise up and demand for it to be stopped and call it what it is, and
teach this world about God.
Life begins deep within the womb–sadly for some that is also where they meet death.
In His love
